Hi there! My name is Maureen Mae Mendoza, I’m 27 years old, and I’m excited to apply for a home-based ESL teacher position. I graduated from Southern Luzon State University with a major in Culture and Arts Education, and I am currently taking up my Master’s degree to keep refining my teaching practices. Over the past four years, I’ve gained rich, hands-on teaching experience. I started as a private tutor for elementary students, which taught me how to adapt my teaching to individual learner needs. After that, I spent almost three years teaching Junior and Senior High School at Sacred Heart College in Lucena City. Although this will be my first official role as an ESL educator, my strong background in communication, curriculum delivery, and interactive teaching techniques translates naturally to language instruction. I am dedicated, patient, and eager to help students build confidence in their English skills right from my home studio. Thank you for your time and consideration

As an educator, my teaching approach is centered around creating dynamic, highly engaging learning experiences that help students discover their unique voice and build lasting confidence. By blending English instruction with my strong background in Arts and Design, basic piano, and public speaking, I make language learning active, expressive, and meaningful. I believe that true confidence grows when students feel empowered to explore, communicate, and take creative risks in a supportive environment. Whether we are analyzing creative work, building presentation skills, or connecting rhythm and movement to language, my goal is to guide every learner toward expressing themselves clearly, authentically, and boldly.
